The Fund Britain’s Waterways campaign cruise has been turning heads all summer, and its latest stop was a memorable one: the Bedford River Festival on the Great Ouse.

Fund Britain’s Waterways shared photos of some of the boats in the joint GOBA and Fund Britain’s Waterways campaign flotilla, gathered at the festival with banners flying and crews ready to chat to the crowds. The Great Ouse Boating Association and the campaign have been travelling together, carrying the ‘Under Threat’ message to one of the country’s best-loved waterway gatherings.

It’s a lovely example of what the campaign is all about. Fund Britain’s Waterways is a coalition of more than 160 organisations speaking up for the hundreds of thousands of people who use and love our canals and rivers — and making the case for the sustained government funding our waterways need to survive.
